This case’s procedural posture was unusual. The plaintiff, suffered significant injuries in an automobile accident in which a car driven by defendant struck her car head-on.
Plaintiff alleged she was injured in an auto accident caused by the defendant’s negligence. The defendant agreed that the accident was due to his negligence, yet he denied that the plaintiff was injured in the accident and claimed degenerative-disc disease caused any postaccident injuries
The plaintiff sued the defendants for battery and unlawful arrest.
